Brighton Haul!

This is the first of a number of hauls, because I spent the past week visiting family in London (more on that to come also) and well...it would have been rude not to go shopping, right? Especially when the shopping is about 5000x better than the shopping in my beloved Exeter.

Brighton was the first place I went and fell in love, and could have bought so much more but I was good, and held back as much as possible. Which wasn't much, but you get the picture!

First up, I finally got my mitts on some Makeup Revolution products! This brand has been making waves in the beauty scene with their top notch products and excellent dupes. I hadn't tried any of their products yet as I am not the biggest fan of buying makeup online, especially from brands I haven't bought from before, as I love swatching products and seeing what the colours and consistency is like, before committing to buying said product. My local Superdrug doesn't stock Makeup Revolution, which does make me very sad, but I did get overexcited when I saw that the Superdrug I went into in Brighton did stock them! It's the little things in life, right?

I basically wanted to buy everything in sight, but I ended up with: the Eye Shadow Palette in Flawless (£8.00) which is the most beautiful selection of 32 nude shades, the 5 Baked Eyeshadows in Pure and Innocent (£2.50) which are beautiful shimmer shades, the Ultra Blush Palette in Hot Spice (£6.00) which is a mixture of pink and coral shades, and the Baked Bronzer in Rock on World (£4.00) which is a shimmery golden colour. So far I love Makeup Revolution, especially all the rose gold detailing on everything, but I will do seperate reviews on these products to go into more detail at a later date.

Also from Superdrug I picked up my very first(!) Essie nail polish in Chinchilly, a beautiful purply grey colour which I absolutely adore, and the Nivea Express Hydration Primer for normal/combination skin. I reviewed the Nivea primer for dry/sensitive skin here, and am very excited to discover if the normal/combination skin one will be any better for my skin.

Of course, you cannot go to Brighton without shopping in The Lanes. It was my first time going there, and I fell absolutely and totally head over heels in love. Shopping in cute little lanes and alleyways is my all time favourite thing to do, and I could've quite happily spent an entire week exploring every nook and cranny. I only bought a few things but what I did buy, I absolutely adore.

I discovered the shop Sass & Belle, and literally wanted to buy everything in sight. Shops filled with cute home things are my newest obsession, and one day I will fill my own home with cute and totally unnecessary things. From Sass & Belle I purchased this adorable jewellery dish with the pink bird purchased on the edge, the adorable owl nail file, and a tin heart with a printed butterfly on it. I love everything I bought from here, and it was all totally affordable. I think the jewellery dish is my favourite, it was only £4.99 and such a nice way to display my favourite jewellery items which are all tucked away in a box at the moment. The nail file was 99p, and the tin heart was £1.99, which I didn't think was bad at all.

My most favourite place in the whole of Brighton, however, has to be Snoopers Attic. When I walked in I literally felt like I'd died and gone to heaven, I utterly adore all things vintage. I had to stop myself from  buying so many things, namely this amazing working pocket watch that had been turned into a necklace, and I only ended up buying this cute heart shaped ring with the stone in the middle. I could've quite happily lived in this shop, I loved it so much!

And thus concludes the Brighton part of everything I bought last week! I adored Brighton, and cannot wait to go back again! If you've been to Brighton, what is your favourite part? I'd love to know!
