Croydon Haul!

Croydon is the wonderful city in which I stayed last week, yet I only went into one shop: very restrained, I know. I only popped into my beloved Boots on the day that I dyed my hair, as I wasn't sure if I would be shopping anymore that week (oh, I was so wrong), and I wanted to pick up some Soap and Glory makeup I've had my eye on for a while. So I did, and I got sidetracked by some other lovely things too. Such is life.

Soap and Glory wise, I took full advantage of their 3 for 2 offer in Boots and picked up, surprisingly, three different items. Firstly, I picked up the Kick Ass Concealer in Light. I struggle with very dark undereye circles and blemishes, and figured this would be a good one to try and combat those problems. I also picked up the Supercat eyeliner, as I've  been after a decent felt tip pen style liner for a while, and felt this fitted what I wanted it for. Finally, I picked up One Heck of a Blot, I've heard some amazing things about this blotting powder and I'm excited to find out the difference it makes compared to ordinary pressed or loose powder.

Non Soap and Glory wise, I got my hands on the cult classic, Kate Moss' Rimmel Lipstick in 107, a pretty berry red colour that I'm fairly sure everyone owns by now, and I've finally caught up! I haven't used this yet, but I'm very excited about it. I also got the L'Oreal Skin Perfection Micellar Water. I've been using the Garnier micellar water for a while now and loved it, and had heard some good things about the L'Oreal one, so we shall see how it measures up. Finally, I got me a new blush brush! I got the pretty pink handled Real Techniques Blush Brush, I've been after one for a while and Real Techniques is one of my all time favourite brands for brushes, as I am sure it is for many others! As you can see, I have used this and I am very much enjoying it!

And that is it for my Croydon haul, I didn't buy much but what I did I love and will be using regularly! Have you picked up any lovely makeuppy bits recently? Anyone else taking advantage of Boots wonderful offers?
